These blog entrees are a BIG catch-up after the passing of time. So many ask me about where I live. My life on the mountain. Of course, my first love is the church in Cordoba! And it's growth. Since I am spending more time at home than in Cordoba city right now, I decided to try and give you more of a glimpse of where I live. Because my internet connection is not good enough to publish from my house, I have to find a moment in the city to sit down and write. The day has finally arrived!! I hope to soon be able to do more writing and publishing on this blog from my place. For now, it is when I can collect/organize myself and sit down and write. Some of you I see in Facebook but many of you I don't. For some, some of the pictures may be a repetition.
This above picture I love. On a clear day as I drive back to my house (2 hours away) I can see from the Punilla Valley where Cordoba city is to my valley, the Calamuchita Valley. In this picture you can see the two mountain ranges. The higher mountains in the background are the mountains near my house.

Animals in the Campo
A question I get alot is about the animals on my place. Besides wild critters that live on the mountain (snakes, montes and puma wild cats, fox, wild ferrats, javalin), I now have reduced the horse count to 11. There are 4 dogs, 3 cats. One cat is 1/2 "montes". Lots of chickens, roosters and fresh eggs!! Here come a few pics of our "pets":
Hermelinda out riding. The fields were in full bloom with the cosmos.....
Toby Leo saddled to ride....
Rosie and her new babe, Echo..... (she feel out under the fence and Evaristo was getting her back to her mother)
Peca and Mica (1/2 montes).....
The 3 cats: Mia, Michi and Mica.....

New chicks. All our chickens have been born on the place. With all the wild critters around we have to always keep the production going...... |
The hens know where the food is! Crazy rooster stands guard and sends the hens in raid the grain bags.... |

Just a bit about the church in Cordoba. We have been delighted to have 2 teams come to work with the readers. Also an intern, Ellie Cornett, from ACU and returning visitor/worker, Judy Stewart. We also had the pleasure of hosting an LST camp led by Ashley and a group from the Harpeth Hills church in Nashville, TN.
Kay Frazier and Ladell Young from Ft. Worth, TX
Keely White, Stacie Dickson and Ellie Cornett. Great workers and examples!!
My niece, Kathy Musick who came with the Hapeth Hills group. Myself and Ashley!
