Fall - Winter 2012, Cordoba

Dearest Friends and Family,

Retirement is too busy! I can't seem to find time to be still enough to get something written in my blog. Oh me!! So much has been going on. It's been a busy fall and winter. Fast paced for several weeks. Following are some highlights I'd like to share:

Let's Start Talking 2012

LST 2012.  Mary Stephens, Barbara Gibson and Barbara Tort were here in March for 2 weeks. Then Marshall Malin and Ross DeJarnett came in May for 5 weeks. Mary and Caroline Arnold, sisters, arrived late May for 3 weeks. Great workers! Lots of reading and practice time.  Now as of August 6, I've started classes that will go until October.

May Trip to States

My visit to Arkansas and Texas in May was good. A time to be with Mother. Drive her to-and-from work 4 days a week. Help Darlene with what needs to be done at Mom's. Enjoy our time together! When in Texas, I'm with the girls and their families. Enjoy my grands, Mattias and Zoe. Also had a special visit this time with my LST workers: Mary Stephens, Vicki Grubbs, Barbara Tort and Terri Coffey. And saw my dear friends and former missionary family the Smiths and the Abels.

Family Time in July

July was filled with quality family time. The quanity is never enough... Laura, Eric, Mattias and Zoe spent 5 weeks in the campo. We enjoyed visits from Gabriela Silvestre, Hector/Gaby Cerutti and a full week with all the grands/cousins together. Jeff came for a weekend. Marcus and Luciana a whole week. Days filled with many experiences and memories. Wish I could share all the photos taken those weeks. Precious times!

Alto Alberdi Church

So much has happened this year in the church. I'm SO THANKFUL to witness all that God is doing here in His church. Some of you may receive Hugo's report: www.family-fuente.blogspot.com . Please read his report to see all that's been happening during the past few weeks.  If you don't read Spanish, the report is also translated into English.

My love and blessings to each of you!  Jacquie
