News Update 2014

Dearest Friends and Family,

This year 2014 has been a big year of adjusting for me.  Since Feb. I've been more in the campo catching up on several tasks that I just can't get to when I live between two places, Cordoba city and the campo.  This has also been a busy year for traveling North.  In March, I came to TX to help with Karen and Fede's new baby, Vera.  Then in May and now in Nov. I've come to spend time with mother.  In May we celebrated her 93rd birthday.  It's a true blessings to still be able to spend time together.

I'm going to change my way of posting on blogger. After my experience with Facebook, I've decided to try and post more often focusing on different parts of my life in Cordoba. This post will be centered around the church in Cordoba city.  A very important part of why I am still in Argentina.

In Feb. Ashley Musick, my great-niece, moved from Buenos Aires, to work with the LST students. She's doing such a wonderful job!  Well..... Ashley and I rent an apartment together for her to live in and where LST workers live when they are in Cordoba city. The apartment is 2 blocks from the building. Great location.

This year several friends have come to help with the LST ministry.  Jake and Marilyn Vincent
were here Feb-March.  So good to share Cordoba with them.  Then Berta McLemore was here the whole month of June. Ashley works with the readers Tues.thru Fri during the whole year.  It's been good for the LST ministry to have more hours and groups offered. More than I could offer working on Mon. and Tues. I'm pleased with how the ministry is serving the church. Of course, we always wish for more students!

The church continues to grow for which we give thanks.  Hugo and Judit Fuente are full time workers. Great servants for the Lord! You can always look at Hugo's blog to see what is happening in the Alto Alberdi church. www.family-fuente.blogspot.com  Here are a few pictures from weekly youth meetings to weekly Bible study and home groups. Also I want to share a picture of Paula Luna's baptism earlier this year.  She came to the church through the LST ministry.
