Hello My Friends!

Dearest Friends and Family,

The time has come for me to get this started! I've wanted to publish my news in another format for some time, but haven't had the time to learn new "tricks". I'm learning.... and so here goes.... Hugo has been very good to help me get this up and going.

These past few months have been TOO busy. It's hard to tell all that's been going on, but I will try and sum up my news in brief with more pictures. Since Christmas there's been lots of visitors and activities. My summer was filled with house guests and gardening/canning. In March a LST team arrived to kick off this years English ministry here in Cordoba. Also in March, a group of high schoolers led by Kathy Henton came to Cordoba for a Spring break mission trip. Great youth group from Jackson, TN.

Here are some visual moments from these past summer months. Please enjoy! Blessings and love, Jacquie
Christmas Dinner-2011. A table full: Jeff and Tato, Marcus and Luciana/Emilio and Clara, Luciana's family including Abu Chami, Evaristo and Hermelinda along with sister, Lili, visiting from Paraguay. A lovely holiday season!

Christmas 2011 : Marcus and Jeff / Emilio, Clarita and Tato. Three of my six grands!

Hugo and Judit brought their parents and my dear friends for a visit and lunch. Juan and Nilda Fuente. Eva Diaz. The rainy, cool day did not dampen our visit!

Cordoba hosted the Argentina Youth Camp this year. Bolivia was also represented. I did airport runs. I have "retired" from camp cooking. It was easy to see as I picked up staff that it had been a great camp! My niece, Ashley Musick, was one of the counselors for the girls. Ashley is working with the Caballito church in Bs. As. I understand the camp planners want to return to Cordoba next year if at all possible. Good!

Old friends now living in Boliva came to help/teach in the youth camp. Butch and Patricia Sandoval. It was sooo good to see them.

It was good to get to know Enoch Rinks who works with Continent of Great Cities. Enoch works with to organize teams for our part of the Americas. His visit crossed with the youth camp so he was able to meet several from this part of the world.

Special guests Dario and Sonia Lopera with their son, Juan David. My dear friend from Caballito days Rosalina. And my dear niece, Ashley, and her visiting friend from Brazil. Dario and Sonia work with the church in Caballito.

We had the joy of starting the LST ministry this year with these 3 lovely ladies: Mary Stephens(pictured in the middle), Barbara Tork and Barbara Gibson. All Texans. This was Mary's 4th trip to Cordoba and the first time for the Barbaras to do LST abroad. They worked hard and fast as they could only stay for two weeks. It was a pleasure to have them!

Jackson, TN Spring break mission trip to Cordoba. Great group of youth. They did not stop for a full week. Worked very hard. They left behind fruits of all their labors here. Kathy Henton led the group as they are her Spanish students there in Jackson. Emily Henton was also along to help with the group.
If you've scrolled down to here, you've gotten just a glimpse of lives that have touched mine these past weeks. Lots of blessings to count! You are part of those blessings even if we don't get to see each other too often..... Love, Jacquie
